BOEHRINGER INGELHEIM: OFEV
unbranded campaign concept
My Role:
As a Senior Creative at Wunderman Thompson Health, I was frequently brought into pitches and client assignments when a heavy conceptual lift was required (for bad comic relief).
As I learn the brand and the ask, I focus on getting myself up to speed on strategy and disease state, leaning heavily on the Home Team, for any relevant details in their their history with the brand, clients, etc.
Such was the case for Boehringer Ingelheim (BI), who asked us for an unbranded campaign in support of OFEV, a drug for idopathic pulmonary fibrosis, also known as IPF.
IPF tends to strike older adults with symptoms such as persistent, hacking cough and fatigue. But patients and doctors alike often mistake these symptoms as the result of age or the affects of comorbidities such as diabetes and heart disease. To raise awareness, I helped develop a campaign concept to encourage patients to ask themselves and their doctors…what if it’s something more serious?
